Bayonet are a four piece from Sheffield producing bright, upbeat indie pop. Made up of Vince Ringrose (vocals/guitar), Lewis Cain (vocals/guitar), Danny Higgins (bass) and Sam Chapman (drums), Bayonet have already release four well received singles, as well as playing at Dot to Dot and Tramlines in 2016.
New single Call Me When It’s Over has a hint of The 1975 about it, it’s melodic and slightly more mellow than their previous tracks, but keeps with their consistent, jangly guitar sound. Bayonet have a youthful aspect to their sound, yet it's clear that they're a very mature band who've put a lot of effort into reaching the point that they're at now. Call Me When It's Over is a colourful, energetic track with meaningful lyrics, definitely a step in the right direction for Bayonet.
