Stay Lunar - Dreaming That I'm Not In Love

Following the release of debut single Brainshake, and follow-up Catch-Up, Bristolian quintet Stay Lunar have unveiled their third single Dreaming That I’m Not In Love – proving their talent for writing consistently impressive music that serves to consolidate their reputation as a must-hear band of 2020.

Described simply the song is a heavenly, synth-infused alt/pop gem, driven by a strong bassline. The genius lies in the ways the instrumentation has been layered to cover the full audio spectrum, guaranteeing a huge sound. This is particularly useful, as many Indie bands reliant upon the use of Chorus as an effect can run the risk of sounding ‘thin’ and compressed; thankfully, the production team at Sugar House have avoided that pitfall by working with Stay Lunar to produce a well-rounded and suitably polished sound that will resonate with fans of Pale Waves and King No-One, whilst allowing the band to maintain their own identity.
