Oranj Son - Whole Hunger

Ellesmere Port based four-piece Oranj Son have dropped another taste of their disco infused pop, heavily influenced by the likes of Pet Shop Boys and The Human League.

Whole Hunger is a testament to the band’s backing from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart, BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson to name but a few. Drawn upon the 60’s pop sentiment of baring all, Whole Hunger focusses on unapologetic and untamed devotion to another person.

Whole Hunger is a strong example of Oranj Son’s knack for high calibre electro-pop, blissful melodies intertwined with a slick riff and disco influenced synth work makes for a track sounding way beyond the Merseyside outfit’s years.
