Good Future - Cata$trophe

Lyrically focussing on the current state of the world, from climate change to money, politics and religion, Manchester’s Good Future continue with their intention of creating thought provoking pop with the collective’s latest single, Cata$trophe.

Built around a “trap inspired drum pattern”, the bass heavy track sticks to the atmospheric, dream pop which has become so familiar from Nathan Shepherd and co. While Good Future’s sound is very much reminiscent of The 1975, their ability to produce quality synth pop based on important subject matter remains a refreshing change from that of many of their peers.
