Cross The Tracks Confirm Phase 2 Line Up

Cross the Tracks returns to Brixton’s picturesque Brockwell Park on 7th June, toting their best line-up of jazz, funk, soul, house, R&B and disco music yet.

Headliners this year include legendary DJ and producer Madlib, performing back to back with Worldwide FM creator Gilles Peterson. They’ll be sharing the headline spot with disco legends Sister Sledge, providing absolute classics like The Greatest Dancer and Lost in Music.

Joining the legends will be contemporary artists making waves in their genres: Sudan Archives, a violinist taking R&B to strange new depths, and Greentea Peng, the unapologetic lo-fi remedy to a comedown. Representing the modern-day jazz renaissance sits Neue Grafik Ensemble, mixing it up with a little house and hip-hop, alongside the spontaneous duo Steam Down.

Local staples, the London African Gospel Choir and Channel One Soundsystem, will also take Brockwell Park.

A festival for contemporary arts, Cross the Tracks also promises ‘rolling green lushness in amongst top class street food vendors, craft beer brewers and bespoke bars’, alongside a variety of VIP amenities, providing a holistic day of creativity and culture.
