Alt rock four piece The Shrives are a band you should know about by now, but probably don’t Formed in 2014, the Nottingham boys’ debut single gained plenty of positive attention from the likes of Kerrang and NME, and their debut album released last year was recorded alongside Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, and Joey Armstrong of SWMRS. The band have plated alongside SWMRS and Judas, as well as sets at the likes of Dot to Dot Festival.
Continuing their success well into 2018, The Shrives have now released their latest single Crash Me. Led by the powerful vocals of frontman Matt Grocott, the band’s latest release truly showcases their versatility. Crash Me is overflowing the solemn melodies, while packing all the qualities of a big indie-pop ballad; proving The Shrives capable of shaking their sound up as and when they please.
