London based The Love Company is the brainchild of singer/guitarist Ryan Tennant, playing as both a synth packed five piece or a simple solo effort. Recorded and produced by Ryan himself, Heaven Is A Place I Call Your Arms is the latest release from the band.
The third single to be released by the London ‘jangly-pop’ five has significant feel of Ariel Pink floating through it. From it’s hazy, drifting vocals to it’s laid-back, dreamy synth; it’s hard to ignore the similarities. However; it’s still very much their own, gradually drifting into a more upbeat, blissful hit of synth before slipping back to it’s lazy, dreamy starting point. Heaven Is A Place I Call Your Arms is a slice of indie pop heaven, from a band who are certainly capable of creating something a little bit special.
